Easter is finally here, meaning that it's time now to reflect on the simplest things in life that bring us joy and happiness.
Below is a personal reflection on Easter as well as some heartfelt wishes for every single person reading this.
Easter celebrates rebirth and the continuation of life
From a Biblical perspective, Easter celebrates Jesus’ resurrection on the 3rd day after his crucifixion, thus symbolizing rebirth. Even eggs that are commonly associated with Easter are a symbol of the creation and continuation of new life.
Therefore, during this Easter allow yourself to let go of the old: old thinking patterns, belief systems, negative emotions, or past mistakes that hold you back. Let go of everything that no longer serves you well and allow yourself to begin a new chapter in your life (if you feel like you need to).
If life events have brought you disappointments or hopelessness, allow your hope to be re-birthed and like a Phoenix, sprout out from the ashes, beginning life anew.
Easter celebrates spring
Spring is the season of creation. Of joy, vibrancy, and vivid dreams. Therefore, this Easter, I wish you to unleash your inner creativity. Take up that creative project you longed to complete for a long time. Allow yourself to adapt a creative approach to your work. Create something out of nothing. Spend time in nature. Do arts and crafts. Do whatever warms your soul and express your creativity with an open heart. It can be as small as baking a cake or as grand as taking up a new creative project, such as a painting, a graphic design job, musical goal, or artistic endeavor. Whatever your heart desires.
I wish for each and every one of you to enjoy this season to its greatest depths. Enjoy the blossoming flowers, honey-like sunshine, and the juicy grass.
Easter celebrates family
Use the Easter of 2022 as an opportunity to re-establish connections with the people that you love. Forgive anyone who may have brought you sadness, and most importantly - forgive yourself (for any past mistakes or deeds that you still hold yourself accountable for).
Family can be whoever your soul loves - biological relatives, friends, or a soulmate. Spend time with people that make you feel like home.
So from the bottom of my heart, I wish your Easter of 2022 to be filled with all these lovely, beautiful things!
