When you are you, nobody is stopping you.
But what does it even mean to be you? Is life not an endless search for finding out who we truly are?
Realness comes with risks we take in our life, with people and new things we try and let into our lives, day by day, and year by year. When we try out new things and meet new people, we will know more about the real us.
Life at all is a risk. A risk that we take every day as soon as we wake up. Every single one of us. If life wouldn’t be a risk, we wouldn’t experience it the way we do, with our full heart. That’s why I want to share some phrases with you that I wrote last summer and remind us all about the one thing no one can take away from us.
We get up.
We fall again.
We trust that life catches us every time.
No matter how deep we fall.
No matter what is surrounding us.
There is nothing more valuable than finding trust inside yourself.
Being here and being there.
Doing that but want to do this too.
Losing hope but never losing trust.
Finding trust in Love.
Loving to find trust.
Inside of me, inside of you, inside of us.
This year the joy that spring is about to arrive feels different. I can’t wait for warmer days and spending more time outside, especially since I’m in Austria and it was a pretty cold winter. But the joy comes with the uncertainty of what our society might turn into. Things, rules, and ways of life are changing in a new way. So while the outside world may feel terrifying at times, the one thing that can push us forward is the trust we have in ourselves, because no one can take that away from us.
